DIVERSIONS
attempts at preventing mush brain

I enjoy discussing and learning about early church history, Celtic Christianity, Eastern Orthodoxy, Lutheranism, European Pietism, Anglicanism, Ecumenics, and electronic culture. I am a member of the Society for the Study of Eastern Orthodoxy and Evangelicalism.

I am involved in a few projects for the Evangelical Covenant Church, the most visible of which is that I am president of the Covenant Ministerium. This means that I’m also on the Board of the Ordered Ministry and a bunch of other committees. In addition I coach church planters and am an on-call chaplain at Emanuel Medical Center.

I run an email list, Abet, for the purpose of discussing issues of mission, leadership, and church health.

I am an editor for the Open Directory Project.
